On October 12th, 2019 at one in the afternoon officially called Ouijazilla was unveiled in Salem, Massachusetts. The gigantic ouija board is the largest in the world and was built with the hope of summoning the world’s largest ghost.

The board was created by the Talking Board Historical Society, and broke the Guinness Book of world records, record for the largest ouija board ever created.

According to their website; “Talking boards are historically significant, having existed in one form or another since shortly after 1848, the birth of Modern Spiritualism. Most Americans are aware of the most famous talking board, Ouija, first introduced in 1890 by the Kennard Novelty Company and sold today by Hasbro, Inc.”

According to their Facebook About Page; “The mission of the Talking Board Historical Society is to research, preserve, and celebrate the history of Ouija and talking boards, the men and women behind them, and the people who use them. The TBHS seeks to promote the study of talking board history, publish important findings, and preserve and officially designate locations with historic connections to talking boards. Fundraising is an important part of these efforts, and the TBHS maintains an endowment fund for carrying out the above-stated purposes. Through these projects and others, the TBHS hopes to unite people of similar interests and promote a fuller understanding of Talking Boards, their historical significance, and their place in popular culture.”

The historical society was founded by Robert Murch, Brandon Hodge, Gene Orlando, Mike Buchner, AG Ruff, Andrew Vespia, Janet Mattei-Romano Curran, Rick Schreck, Calvin von Crush, Colin Jones, and John Kozik.

Robert Murch, one of the founders of the society is well known for his collaboration with Hasbro to create and distribute ouija boards in stores for children.

My, my, my, such noble use of one’s time.
While wars, genocide, hate, starvation, evil, and natural disasters impact all of us, a group of LOSERS, freaks, incels, and other misfits decide to play Ouija board on a massive scale.

Salem used to be the home/hq of Parker Bros., Monopoly’s manufacturers. Wonder if there’s any connection to the Witch event with other “games.”

It’s all fun and games, until you end up suffering from demonic oppression or possession.
